The geometry of geography, the sweeping lines caused by erosion, cut by water and rain. The subtle scarring of the landscape occurs by the integration and imposition of drawn and etched images from invented landscapes I have imagined. I pass over the landscape at high speed in a fast plane. Only briefly wondering what occurs beneath the surface. Then there is the luminous mirage, hazy in the heat, like a reflection, or another dimension to my understanding of the landscape.
