The Inland Sea.
Digital Print on Paper; 70cm x 240cm.

The Kimberley region was once a part of the Arafura Sea. Vast aquatic reefs formed, which as the sea subsided, remained to create fossilized limestone ranges. The Inland Sea is homage to the idea that the imagined heart of the Australian continent was once considered to be a sea. The land has dried out and what remains are the remnants of another life.
